Disability

I am going to write a book about hidden disabilities. People can see people who have visible disabilities and they are understood. But people with hidden disabilities are very misunderstood. They are treated like outcasts. I want to change people’s views on disabilities.

I believe people with disabilities are treated as if they still live in the 18th century. People treat children and adults like they are stupid and they don’t understand things. We need a new approach and ideas in helping to understand people with hidden disabilities. I believe books don’t teach that. They look at everyone the same. We all are individuals with different needs. We need to think out of the box and not in it.

I hope I can change some people’s thinking about disabilities people fight every day with. Disabilities that you can’t see.
