This is my stress food. Stress comes with anxiety. It is hard to do something that you really fear. You don’t know how the outcome will be until it’s all done.
Music helps me relax. But I don’t feel better until I do what I have to do. My anxiety makes my feet shake, but I hope it will go away.

I had a job working in a Seniors home. I worked there for a year and I was called in to get a raise in pay. I got paid 7 dollars and now I earned 5 cents more. I was not happy about that. I said I deserve more, so I got 7 and a quarter. My boss complained but I got that. I stood up for myself and I will never forget that.

I did try to learn French online, but I quit that. I learned some words but I forgot them.
I did take a course offline and I enjoyed it. It was about Astrology and the paranormal. I passed.

I look at life with an open mind to all possibilities.

Real people are themselves and they treat people respectfully. You can be kind or nice, but having an ego can make people not want to be around you. Respect is proven by actions, not just words.

I would do what I am told. I would remember your birthday. I would cheer you up when you are sad. I wouldn’t lie to people. I would care about you and be honest with you.
When it came to me. I was abandoned. I was lied to. My friends lied to me. My husband passed away. Everything I believed was a joke.
Being good is okay when someone cares about you and shows they truly care.

I have learned on my own how to love a man. I gave myself away to too many guys until I found the right one. I was faithful, honest, and truthful. I have learned that I was never truly wanted, and my feelings were never heard. Now I am on my own. I wish I knew then what I know now. It’s sad when you hate your family. Sorry for the sad post. I prefer nights and not mornings. I enjoy a coffee around 10 or 10:30 am. That’s when I start my day. At night I write and answer questions on Quora. When I feel good I clean. Sometimes I feel depressed and I sit in bed and watch Paternity Court with Lauren Lake. Plus I listen to music.

This is a skill that has no study books. You go with the flow. You have great parents, or you have bad parents. It is not taught in school.
Being a parent you make mistakes and your judgement is not always the right call. If you are honest with your kids, they will respect you. You take the good with the bad. A man can be a great parent or a bad parent and it goes for women too. No one is perfect.
People don’t look at parenting as a job but it is. You don’t get paid. But life gives you challenges and experiences. That’s what it’s all about.
When you show fairness, equality for all your kids. In the end they will love you back. Plus trust helps too.

What’s a personal mantra or philosophy you live by?
I have learned the hard way. If you can’t rely on family who can you trust.
It is a hard thing to say. I can’t trust you. When you have been stapped in the back so many times you lose faith in what you believed as a kid. When you lose trust, love also fades.
Trust is important in any relationship. When you don’t have that, you have nothing. Now when I lost my best friend. I feel alone. I look after my kids who are adults now. It’s tough. But they keep me going. They rely on me. They trust me, and that says a lot.
Without trust there is nothing, but anger and resentment. People say you can rely on family. I don’t have that. I know when you get rid of toxic people you feel peace of mind. Time will heal my broken heart. I have learned to rely on myself and I am proud to know, it takes painful moments to know I will get through it.
Knowing I can trust what my gut says I will come out fine.

I moved from a big city to a small town. We rented a place, but we had to leave because of a gas problem. My dad and mom bought a house for my family. Now it’s mine.
Before we moved I took my oldest daughter for a walk. I went too far. Walking home I fell. It was icy. So I met the ground. It was an interesting way to get to know the town where I live now.
It used to be cool living here, but we have issues in this town. But I stay home, so it’s nice being at home.
When my kids grew up it changed a lot. But this is where my home is.

What’s a moment in your life that made you feel truly alive?
I wasn’t meant to be here. They called me a blue baby. The chord was wrapped around my neck.
I had many issues. But I was a fighter. I struggled and I went through lots of challenges.
I was happy when I met my hubby. That was the first time I felt alive and happy. He made me feel good about myself. I miss him now. But my kids keep me strong. I am still going through challenges, but that will be until I pass away.

His love gave me strength and it still does even though he passed away. I am alone, but my kids keep me going. They are adults now. They give me strength to carry on. Inner strength is what I have had since I was born. So I am not stopping now.

I say this because it’s my happy moment. I know you should eat a good meal. I start my day with coffee ☕. I never liked breakfast. It was forced on me. Lunch was okay, but I can take it or leave it. Dinner depended on what it was. My anxiety always followed me. Food was not important to me. My coke and chips gave me the feeling of feeling safe. I might be an odd ball, but I am okay with that. When my husband passed away I called his mom to tell her. She told me it was my fault that he didn’t speak to her. I told her it was her fault. I called her a name, and I told her not to ever call me. Plus I am going to block you and I did. I even did that with my parents. The next day I had a cop at my door. I was so angry. I told him I want nothing to do with her. Peace at last.
I miss my husband. But telling her off was so satisfying. She never liked me.

I went on a trip with my grandmother. I was walking in front of her. I felt like I knew where I was going, but at that time I didn’t know about past lives.

I was always fascinated by magic. I even enjoyed watching Bewitched. If I could wash dishes that way. Ron’s family was full of love and magic. It was a family who cared about each other. If I had that even for one day. I would be happy.

There are a lot of homeless people where I am. I feel bad for those people, but at the same time they have put themselves there. If I knew what would happen to me now. I wish I had saved the money I had, but my husband looked after the money. Living on disability is very challenging. It is hard to save money and then my husband couldn’t work because he got sick. When he passed away I found out they cut my disability to half. Life is not fair. I wish my life was better. I am thankful for what I do get. I am glad my kids who are adults now help me. People who do have a business, a job should be grateful they are not in my shoes.

Before I met my hubby. I had a dog named Smarties. She was a beauty. I took her for a walk near my home there is a park. She wanted to run so I let her go, but the leash was still on her. She jumped into the dirty water and she was drowning. I am glad she had the leash on. I caught her and pulled her out of the water. I washed her when we got home. Never again did I let her go. I miss her.
What’s something you do completely differently from how you were raised?
I raised my children differently than my parents raised me. My husband and I treated our children equally. No Favorites. My children had the right to their feelings and thoughts. My kids could be anything they wanted to be. I treated my kids and husband honestly and truthfully. My parents never did that with me. I couldn’t have my hair the length I wanted. Now I can do what I want and not feel bad and guilty about it. It’s my life. My kids who are now adults are my life. My husband passed away like I said many times here. I miss him. My political views are very different from my parents and I love that. Now at 63 I am living my life my way.

How did you meet your significant other?
I wrote in another question how I met my hubby. To this question I will say. There was a man at work I liked and I asked for his number and he gave it to me. We talked for 2 weeks and then all of a sudden, he had his friend come on the phone. I said, ‘who the hell are you ‘? He was going to hang up on me, but he didn’t. We talked for a long time. When we met. It was love at first sight. It was a great day.

If you could go back and witness any historical event, which one would you pick?
I find that time very interesting. The history sounds romantic, and fighting for what you believe in. Women would also fight for what they believed in. Both sexes were treated equally. It is not like that today. People believe the Vikings were vicious and just took whatever they wanted. History made them out to be bad and selfish. I believe back then they fought for what they believed in and that takes a lot of courage. There are two sides to every story. Today we live in a world of money, power and greed. If you could erase one event from history, what would it be?
No one has learned from any part of history. So why bother to change anything. We haven’t learned from our mistakes. We are still living in medieval times. We still kill people, we argue about different religions, we hate people because they disagree with each other. People still want to have power, and control all people. We don’t care for human beings, we live in a selfish world. If I could change anything in my life. I would have left home earlier in life. People talk about trust. I don’t trust anymore. So history keeps on repeating itself. People talk about going to space, but only the rich can achieve that goal, but why go out there when we cannot get along here. Why destroy another planet. What’s a conspiracy theory you actually find believable?
I won’t say which one’s. I don’t believe in what people say, but I do say actions speak louder than words. Life is full of mystery and people only think in the box because the truth would blow up everything they believed in to be wrong and they wouldn’t know what to do. There are many theories that are true, but people want science to prove all things, but I don’t agree. Mystery opens up all possibilities. It just depends on what you want to believe in. When closing one door another door opens. When you unlock the key to the truth, you would shake your head and say why didn’t I listen to what my gut says is right.
We can theorize about anything, but when do we say what’s real, and what is just wishful thinking.

How do you deal with uncertainty?
Uncertainty is a very scary thing when you have no one to share your fears with.
I called the title. Life’s Rolling Stones because one thing starts another thing happens and then more things happen. It is scary because anxiety kicks in. Depression is something that does not go away. Solving solutions is hard when you don’t have money to do the job.
Who do you trust, who will listen, who will help. I don’t know. Uncertainty makes me feel powerless. Living your life this way. It is depressing, scary and not knowing what tomorrow will bring. The only way I can live my life is one day at a time.

What’s a moment when you realized you were officially an adult?
When you have a disability you are treated like a child. Most people who do not have a disability understand what it’s like to have a disability. It is challenging, it is going through a lot of judgement by people who misunderstand you. You are not allowed to think for yourself because people think your decisions are not for you. You will never live your dreams. It is a big slap on the face. Especially family members who don’t believe you can stand on your own.
The only person who believed in me was my husband. Also my grandmother. I miss her. When you are not heard. Your life gets much harder.
I am now 63 and I don’t listen to my family. They are out of my life. Even my mother-in-law too. That stress is gone. I have to struggle on my own, but I am doing what I want to do. It took me 63 years, and I never gave up the fight. Just because you have a disability doesn’t mean you have to stop believing in your dreams. Being an adult means you have independence, but a little guidance goes a long way.
Being an adult is not easy, but having the inner strength helps along my journey. My kids give me strength too. Love is key to success. Especially when it comes from the heart, and not your pocket book. Having a disability doesn’t mean you will fail. It just means you have to work harder to reach your goals.

What’s a moment when a stranger completely restored your faith in people?
I have a very hard time trusting people. I believed in my family, but I felt betrayed. I believed in my friends and they stabbed me in the back. When a person says a word to me it has to be proven. Humanity is not fair, it is for the rich. It really is.
A woman who works with my son and daughter helped me with issues with our house. She gave me hope that people do care about me and my kids. I will never forget her. She worked hard to get things organized for us. There is hope some people truly care.

I really enjoyed 🦞 lobster, but I found out I was allergic to sea food. I enjoyed it at the time. It is expensive today so I like lobster 🦞 swim free and shrimp too.

Friendship and love go hand in hand. First friendship because when that comes first your relationship will last for a long time. When your best friend is gone, it’s hard to start over. But if you don’t try. You only end up a cat lady. I love cats. But that is not enough. Friendship ends loneliness.

What’s something you used to worry about but don’t anymore?
I used to want my parents love. Now I don’t care anymore. Nothing I did was good enough. I started to love myself when I met my hubby. His love was enough for me.
When life slaps you so hard you learn from that. I learned from them you can’t trust people who do things behind your back. This was proven over and over to me. So now I am on my own, but my kids keep me going. They are adults now. I am proud of them. My love for my kids means a lot to me because I am not my parents I am me. I wouldn’t change that for anything in the world 🌍

Money is important to live. We need to eat, and have a place to be safe. A home, an apartment. We need furniture and kitchen stuff. Money to buy pleasurable things to enjoy in our life. But if you can put money away. You just might need it for an emergency. Surprises happens. Good and bad things. That extra money can save your life. I wish I knew this when I was younger. This is something to think about.

Before we had the internet we would write letters and mail them. We would write stories in paper pages. Today we don’t write letters, we just email and write on WordPress. We do so much online. People write more than just having a conversation. Old school is out and new age stuff is now. If old timers learn the new slang we will be fine. Some people still do it the old fashion way and others go with the flow.

His fictional character is like my life. Abandonment is something I can relate to. His life is witchcraft and magic. Mystery always intrigued me and it still does. Harry Potter series is fictional, but nature and spirits, and the paranormal and witchcraft makes a good book. Spells in witchcraft are real and that can be scary. But living nature’s magic can be powerful and magical. Life is a mystery and I question all things. Harry Potter is the icing on the cake. Enjoy it.

I believe what happens in life is for a reason, but some things are just a tragedy. When you lose your best friend. That is sad.
What we do in life makes us stronger. It has for me. I believe what I have learned in life is for a reason.
I have learned not to trust people which include family. I have faced many challenges and that is making me a stronger person. Many people take things for granted, but I have learned a lot about life and what I need to do.

Everyone has a story. Everyone wishes for a better ending. But real life is not like that. We can’t change death, who we love. We can’t change the disease we had unless it could heal itself. A book cannot change your pain, your anger, your disability. It can make you stronger by being truthful to yourself. You can dream of a better ending, But it can’t change the outcome. Life is hard enough. So why pretend. You can write fiction, love, mystery, Alien beings. The one thing you can do is dream.

What’s a promise you made to yourself that you’ve actually kept?
My mother was not there for me. My grandmother was more like a mom to me. I watched T.V. with her, and I ate with her and I cried with her. She is missed. My mom didn’t walk to school. I walked on my own. Plus I took a bus when school was further away. My parents cared more for my brother and sister. Everything I did wasn’t good enough.
When I met my husband. My life changed. I promised myself that I wouldn’t be like my parents. I loved my children equally. I listened to them. I was the referee. I was fair. I took my children to school, when they went to school they took a bus, but I was there to meet them. My kids are adults now and I love them equally. They are my life. My kids still live with me, and I love it. My kids are my life now. Now I am mom and dad. I am cool with that. I promised myself I will never be my parents. I am proud of that.

I am glad the Internet was created. I like to write and share what I believe in. People can like it or not like it. It is what I believe in and enjoy writing about. It gives me purpose. What I believe in is based on my own feelings and how I see the world. My opinion is my opinion. What I believe is important to me. If people don’t agree with me. I wouldn’t call it an animal, but a little creature. A butterfly 🦋 is a symbol of freedom. To fly and go anywhere I wanted to go. The computer age is here. Which can be good and bad. It is what we do with it that is important. There are conveniences to it.
Writing and getting known without having to leave your house. That works for me. Making images I cannot draw on paper. That works for me. We live in a world of opportunities, so why not computers and cell phones to make it useful to people who need it. So I believe they are here to stay.

Are you a lifelong learner?
I enjoy learning new things. I took a course in the paranormal and finished with honors. I enjoy mystery and magic. What’s a chapter of your life you’d title “The Hard Years” — and what got you through it?
When my husband passed away. My life changed. I depended on him for a lot. Now I rely on myself. It is not easy. I do ask for help which is hard for me. I need to trust again. My children who are adults now help me, so that gives me courage to do what I need to do. I cry a lot but that is my healing way. Writing helps me cope too.
